The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) provides tools, services, & resources to clinical investigators, to maximize the impact of discoveries and to speed the translation of research into improved patient care.

The Communications Office is responsible for the development and implementation of a coordinated internal and external communications.

The Federal Relations connects faculty with federal funders, shares BU’s expertise with policymakers, collaborates with national organizations, and boosts BU’s visibility in Washington on policies affecting research universities.

The Financial & Grants Administration Office, BUMC provides each department and principal investigator a centralized and specialized resource for research administration.

The Foundation Relations team, within the Office of Development & Alumni Relations, helps faculty identify, apply for, secure, and steward charitable gifts and grants from private philanthropic foundations and nongovernmental organizations.

The Proposal Development office serves to assist faculty and principal investigators in developing competitive proposals.

The Research Operations, BMC collaborates with PI/PDs and administrators on proposal submission, award acceptance, and key award management requirements.

The Sponsored Programs, BU helps identifying funding sources, proposal development, grant writing to managing awards.

The Research Occupational Health Program (ROHP) focuses on the health, wellness, and safety of the University’s scientific research community.
