Students Interested in Neurosurgery (SINS)
Mission statement:
The mission of the Students Interested in Neurosurgery (SINS) is to provide students with the information and resources to get involved in the neurosurgical community. Students will have the foremost opportunities to learn more about hot topics in the field from prominent neurosurgeons and neuroscientists. Furthermore, those interested in applying for neurosurgical residencies will be paired with clinical, research, and peer mentors to help students become competitive in the Match. In addition to these opportunities, joining this group also grants membership to the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine chapter of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), and by extension, the unique funding and mentorship opportunities available to members.
