Fluoro Radiation Safety Training
This site has been created to comply with Massachusetts DPH regulations, The Joint Commission requirements, and Boston Medical Center policy that requires all licensed physicians and physician assistants who operate fluoroscopic x-ray equipment to complete documented fluoroscopy radiation safety training on an annual basis.
This program provides educational information on fluoroscopy radiation risks and methods to reduce these risks to both patients and staff. The initial training component consists of an On-Line Fluoro Tutorial followed by an on-line Quiz and a one hour Hands-on Lab. After successful completion of initial training, the annual training requirement for subsequent years consists of completing the On-Line Fluoro Tutorial and Quiz only.
