William R. Creevy, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After completing his surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate Hospital, Dr. Creevy returned to Boston and completed his orthopaedic residency at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate Hospital.

Acutely aware of the need to maintain high-quality care while navigating the changing financial and competitive health care environment, Dr. Creevy received a Master of Science Degree in Health Care Management from Harvard University in 2001. The skills and techniques learned in the program have further enhanced Dr. Creevy’s leadership within the department and throughout the hospital.

Dr. Creevy’s clinical interests include orthopaedic trauma, sports medicine, and arthroscopic surgery. He is the author of several published journal articles and book chapters, and presents nationally on both orthopaedic techniques and practice management issues.
